CRITERIA FOR JUDGING

CONTENT IMPACT (30%)

Nominee’s contribution to awareness of social issues and important matters of society and the Church. Nominee’s success in engaging with the digital citizens and bringing positive change. Content must cover relevant societal affairs, significant catholic and social teachings, announcements or support on parochial or organizational activities.

INNOVATIVE PRACTICE AND UNIQUENESS (20%)

Improvements and developments the nominees have brought in their own fields, especially their techniques or processes, which are considered unique or innovative in the social media network.

  • Supports a cause/advocacy of the church – the idea must support a value, principle, theme, or initiative being carried out by the Catholic church
  • New and digital way of doing things for the parish – key element is transforming traditional into a digital way of executing things

 

CONTENT RELEVANCE (20%)

Nominee’s content must be relevant to Catholic and social teachings or services and must either be educational or informative.

 

RESPONSIVENESS (10%)

Nominee’s audience interaction on their pages, websites, or other social media platform.

 

FOLLOWING, SUPPORTERS, AND ENGAGEMENT RATE (10%)

Nominee’s garnered percentage of engagement from their target audience and a growing number of following. This also includes number of comments, shares, statistics, and reviews.

 

COPYRIGHT PROTECTION (10%)

Nominee’s post should be original with no intellectual property copyright and plagiarism issues (i.e., articles, photos, music, etc). If posts are using unoriginal photos and/or articles, nominee should have proper citations and disclaimer about its license and use.
